External Grievance and Whistleblowing Policy
Purpose
We are committed to upholding the highest standards of ethics, transparency, and accountability. This External Grievance Policy provides a clear process for external stakeholders—including customers, suppliers, community members, and the general public—to raise concerns or complaints about our practices, conduct, or impacts.
Scope
This policy applies to:
- Grievances related to our business practices, social or environmental impact, or stakeholder relationships.
- Whistleblowing reports concerning suspected misconduct, fraud, corruption, or violations of law or B Corp standards.
How to Report a Concern
Grievances and whistleblowing concerns can be reported by completing the online form below as follows:
- Nature of Enquiry: Please change the nature of enquiry to Grievance
- Message Please include the following information:
- Your name and contact information (optional for anonymous submissions)
- A detailed description of the issue
- Relevant dates, locations, and individuals involved (if applicable)
- Any supporting documentation or evidence
Review and Investigation Process
- Acknowledgment: We will confirm receipt within 5 business days.
- Assessment: We will determine whether the issue falls within the scope of this policy.
- Investigation: If warranted, an impartial investigation will be conducted.
- Resolution: We aim to resolve all issues within 30 days. If more time is needed, we will provide updates.
- Outcome: You will be informed of the outcome unless the report was anonymous.
Whistleblower Protection
To ensure the safety and confidence of whistleblowers, we have implemented the following protections:
- Anonymous Reporting: Reports can be submitted without disclosing identity.
- Confidential Handling: All information is kept strictly confidential and shared only with those directly involved in the investigation.
- Non-Retaliation Policy: We strictly prohibit any form of retaliation against whistleblowers.
Confidentiality
All reports will be treated with the highest level of confidentiality. Information will only be shared with those directly involved in the investigation and resolution process.
Non-Retaliation
We prohibit retaliation against any individual who submits a grievance in good faith.
Consequences of Retaliation
If retaliation against a whistleblower is identified:
- Immediate disciplinary action will be taken against the responsible party, up to and including termination of contracts or employment.
- Corrective measures will be implemented to prevent future occurrences.
- Reporting to authorities may occur if the retaliation violates legal protections.
Appeals
If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may request a review by a senior member of our leadership team.
Reporting to B Lab
If your concern relates to a breach of B Corp standards—such as misrepresentation during certification or violations of the B Corp Declaration of Interdependence—you may also submit a complaint directly to B Lab.
