Permanent Roles with Computer Network Defence Ltd
Security Operations Centre Analyst
CND are growing our Isle of Man Security Operations Centre Team, where we offer protective security monitoring services to a number of clients from financial institutions, to leading tech firms and even some clients in the Superyacht world. The best bit? You don’t need to be currently working in Cyber, if you have a background in System Admin or IT engineering, we can train you to put those skills to good use defending customer networks from malicious actors.
Senior Penetration Tester
Would you like to be a leader within the next phase of an established business? How about taking on the challenge of building a capability around your offensive security skills? As we move into 2023, we are now looking to expand the Red Team at CND to encompass someone wholly devoted to testing and securing our client’s network and applications. This is a greenfield role, where you will be supported but ultimately, we will be looking to you to drive the thirst for excellence across a burgeoning team.
Cyber Security Analyst
CND are looking to bolster our internal team with another experienced Security Analyst. Your role will be to develop and provide monitoring services to both our customers and our internal networks. You will be working with some of the sharpest minds in cyber, who have an enviable knowledge of the vast Cyber Security realm. At times, you may be working on site with our clients delivering protective monitoring or SOC capability development across our diverse range of customers.
Contract Roles Through Computer Network Defence Ltd
Security Assurance Coordinator
CND are looking to add to an existing team we’ve built for a leading public sector consultancy, delivering assurance services into government clients. We are looking for a SAC or Information Assurance Consultant with experience in delivering assurance outcomes into a diverse range of projects, aligned to both HMG standards and NIST. The role is an opportunity to be exposed to a premium quality of work. The position is outside IR35 and has an attractive duration.
Azure Cloud Architect
CND are working with a boutique change and transformation consultancy who are growing their architect team to push for "cloud first" adoption and to develop cloud architectures and processes within their clients infrastructure. This is a contract role with hybrid arrangements, working 2-3 days a week on the customers site and the rest remotely.
AWS Cloud Engineer
CND are working with a change and transformation consultancy as they grow their team of cloud engineers for a number of government projects. You will work in a fantastic team of engineers where you will utilise and constantly improve your own skills. This is a contract role with hybrid arrangements, working 2-3 days a week on the customers site in Wiltshire and the rest remotely.

Senior Cyber Security Analyst
Are you considering your next step in your Security journey? Are you keen to work with a progressive business who maximise the potential of all their resources? CND are working with a prestigious financial institution to develop their security team at their head office in the Isle of Man. Whilst they have a team in situ, they are looking for an experienced analyst to bring their experience and knowledge of security capability to bear. This covers areas such as incident management, governance, and risk and various improvement projects in their security estate. The person in this role will also be largely business facing, ensuring that employees are up to date on current risks and working to develop a strong security awareness culture at the business.
Senior SOC Analyst
Are you keen to take the challenge of building a new SOC offering from greenfield? Want to work with a company delivering innovative and secure solutions to clients? CND are supporting a specialist in secure communications technology to help build up a SOC offering from effectively greenfield. They are developing a SOC to offer more added value to customers and to provide protective monitoring to their own systems. They have completed selection of their SIEM solution but now need an experienced analyst to come on board and focus on the capability development. In their roadmap is offerings such as Threat Hunting, Incident Response. Given the nature of the clients this company supports, the role will need to be onsite in Hereford.
SOC Analyst
Do you have experience as a SOC analyst? Are you keen to work on interesting projects and clients using cutting edge tooling? CND are working with a great consultancy delivering innovative technical solutions to public sector who are looking at developing their SOC. It’s is a young division of the company, aiming at delivering added value to their existing client base through defensive Cyber monitoring. As it stands, they are looking for someone with 6-12 months experience in a SOC, ideally working on Splunk to effectively protect clients and respond to actionable alerts.

Cyber Security Architect
We are supporting a global enterprise, who are looking to appoint a Security Architect to their internal team. The role will be involved in a number of developing projects across the whole organisation, offering security input and advising teams on how to put security at the core of what they do. You will be tasked with taking a look at where they are currently, and work with the wider team to develop the roadmap for where they are going. This is not a role for someone who wants to be siloed away and purely technical, this role will require a business facing element, negotiating internally to find innovative solutions to new and challenging problems.

A respected consultancy within the government space has engaged CND to help find them a Senior AWS Architect with a breadth of experience across the main service offerings. You will be leading on innovative solutions in a government environment. You will be further developing critical national infrastructure and ensuring that cultural change for cloud adoption is delivered. We need you to be ready to offer guidance around industry best practices and principals to build a stronger and more resilient environment.

Primarily your focus will be improving the Azure Cloud Infrastructure for clients and work to implement DevOps principals and practices. This is a permanent role, with a hybrid arrangement between remote work and a customer site in the South West.
