Permanent Roles with Computer Network Defence Ltd

Senior Cyber Security Analyst (Tier 2)

Type: Permanent
Location: Isle of Man (Relocation Available)

CND are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst, (Tier 2) to work within the CND MSSP SOC to assist the SOC Team Lead (TL) and monitor, triage, escalate and investigate security alarms and events of interest which have been detected across multiple platforms and presented in the SIEM console. These include, Vulnerability Management, Security Information Events Managers (SIEM), Cyber Threat Intelligence and raw sensors such as IDS firewalls and requires the incumbent to familiar with all the different variants in use, to enable them to log into the original event source to carry out in depth incident analysis, to support the incident analysis. 

Cyber Security Engineer

Type: Permanent
Location: Isle of Man (Relocation Available)
Clearance: Ability to hold SC

We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join us at CND to work across both our internal environment and alongside our own CSOC.  Your time will be split across solving high priority security problems for clients as well as working across our own IT estate to ensure we are continually progressing.   The role will expose you to multiple cutting edge security technologies, and it will be down to you to develop and implement innovative solutions to challenges.  Whether working on a Cisco Firepower, improving a SIEM parser or hardening the defences on an Azure tenant, the role will give you the bandwidth to continually develop your skills and experience.

CND are working with a boutique Cyber Security consultancy who are focused on the Penetration Testing market.  What makes them stand out?  They are not interested in flashy marketing and would never be caught trying to pass off a Nessus scan as a Penetration Test.  The business has been built on delivering excellent testing and reports as well as ensuring that clients see the real benefits of their testing outputs.  The company have an office in Cheltenham however you are welcome to work where is best for you. 

Software Engineer

The role’s remit is to work with their clients, both domestic and overseas to help develop and construct effective SOC and IR teams. This role requires not only good technical skills, but also expert stakeholder management skills, working with diverse teams of differing priorities to drive towards uplifting the organisation’s security posture.  You will work with a variety of stakeholders, from junior to executive director. Not every environment will be fully certain and your diplomacy skills with help to shape the way forwards.
