We are on the search for a SysOps Engineer to join a collaborative and agile systems team, playing a critical role in ensuring the security, stability, and uptime of production, staging, and development environments. You will work closely with developers, product owners, UX designers, and other stakeholders to support products and business objectives, in a team that values pair programming, whiteboarding, peer reviews, and a passion for technology. Key responsibilities include monitoring systems, responding to alerts, managing network, server, and storage assets (including AWS VPC and EC2), and driving infrastructure upgrades and process improvements using cloud-native services. Essential skills include AWS expertise (minimum two years managing secure, high-availability workloads), proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible, strong Linux systems administration experience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and incident management. Familiarity with agile practices, scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools is desirable, along with AWS certifications or willingness to obtain them.
