Are you seeking a new contract in a rapidly changing environment? Do you want to work surrounded by some of the best minds in Security?

Our client is seeking a Security Architect with a good knowledge in the main cloud technologies to help improve the functionality of the SOC and ensure that highly important assets are protected.  The organisation you would be supporting have one of the best Operation Centres in the nation, but now need to further develop the effectiveness in having visibility and being able to action threat that target off-premises data.  The successful candidate will be designing and implementing that solutions, using their knowledge of AWS and Azure. 

 Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work with the team to design a solution to further improve the SOC’s cloud capability and to link it in with the on-premise SOC
  • Use your knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS and Azure) to assist with projects alongside security team
  • Take ownership of architecting fully automated Log analytics
  • Be comfortable working within the frameworks of MOD IT Security Policies
  • Communicate with the wider technical team to ensure the solution is meeting requirements

Essential Skills and Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience working with Azure and/or AWS in a Security environment
  • Good background with network architecture and how various pieces fit together
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Knowledge of products in the Cloud space and ideally those that allow automation of tasks
  • Good knowledge of working in a MOD environment and the Security policies that go along with that
  • SC clearance is highly beneficial
