The competitors were tasked with hardening workstations and servers running Windows and Linux, CND's red and blue teams combined to help teach the Island's team about both what to harden, and why it was important.

“I joined the RAF at the tender age of 16. After 23 years in the regular military, transitioning into civilian life was an overwhelming experience for myself and my family. Since setting up Computer Network Defence in 2004, we have sought to help numerous other military leavers and reservists into roles in Cyber Security both within our company and partners. The values and beliefs these leavers hold as well as their strong work ethic makes them valuable additions to any workforce.”
