We currently require a number of Security Analysts to work within a SOC based in Corsham / Swindon. The roles require varying levels of experience, and a minimum SC security clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for analysis of all intrusions and threats across multiple tiers.
• Gather intelligence from external resource e.g. the internet
• Interface with client IT and Security Personnel
• Identify and report real time attacks and vulnerabilities
• Investigate and resolve all network security incidents.
• Investigate alerts in-depth using including raw packet data.
• Enhance the detection ability by identifying false positives.
• Managing & updating of firewalls including creation of rules.
• Assist with product implementation and management

Experience:

Senior

• Previous experience working as an Analyst in Government and Defence based SOC's
• In depth knowledge of various IDS/IPS devices and/or SIEM's
• Experience of in-depth packet analysis
• Experience of the design, implementation and management of IDS and firewalls
• Ideally CISSP, ISSP, GIAC

Junior

• Good IP experience
• Strong Networking skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of security principles
• Experience working as a Network Analyst / engineer
