The Computer Network Defence recruitment team are not only focused on the successful placement of candidates into an organisation, but the process, quality of service and the manner of which the business is done is imperative to us as well.

We recognise the day to day frustrations that come with using external recruitment agencies from first hand experience. We have known agencies to let themselves down by submitting CV’s without candidate’s permission, submitting false information about candidates to obtain an interview or being commercially careless with candidate and company privacy and confidentiality. We are also aware that in today’s market conditions companies often suffer from agencies intentionally creating a ‘bidding war’ in order to locate the highest offer for a candidate, increasing the agency fee. The knock on effect of this is that a great deal of time is wasted and the candidate is ‘lead astray’ and talked into accepting a role they are often not ideally suited too.

At Computer Network Defence we feel that all of these tactics and any others similar are totally unethical and should not be seen in any business. Our promise is to ensure that should you use us, you will never fall fowl of them again. We do this by implementing a few simple, standard practices across the CND recruitment team:

Communication:

We are incredibly diligent on keeping both our candidates and clients up to date with information on the search and selection process, or the interview stages, ensuring that it is honest and accurate.

Detailed Qualifications:

We qualify our candidates and our customer needs in detail. This ensures a full understanding of the team and the skills that are required for the position. If you don’t have a job spec we are more than happy to call or visit you in order to discuss the role, the team and the company then write one for your approval.

Finding the Perfect Match:

Matching candidates to jobs as accurately as we can, if a candidate does not have a secondary skill but are willing to undergo training or perhaps have another attribute that may be of interest, we tell you, we don’t hide it.

Quality:

We ensure that the roles we work with and the candidates that we represent are of a high standard. All of our candidates are actively interested in the position, they understand the role and the opportunity, they are aware of the salary banding and the benefits. They are qualified, capable and a good team fit.

Interviews:

All of our candidates are personally interviewed to a high standard prior to submitting them. If the consultants cannot hold a detailed technical interview themselves, we engage our core technical consultants to hold an interview and to test the level of skills the candidate posses.

Post offer care:

When an offer is made and contracts are signed, we don’t forget the position or the candidate exists. We help to guide people through what can be a difficult process such as resignations, counter offers and first day jitters. Both our clients and candidates receive regular calls within the first few months to ensure that everything is going smoothly.
