CND Ltd & the White Hat Rally

This year the White Hat Rally was based on a “Carry on” theme, which introduced some fantastic entries such as Carry on Farming, Carry on Doctor, Carry on Sergeant, Carry on Ladies and many more.

The weekend started smoothly on Friday morning (although with slightly delicate heads), and the daunting realisation hit home very quickly that the Rally would not be based purely on getting from A – B, but actually consisted of tasks, checkpoints and deciphering complicated directions between them.

Overall the Rally was a complete success, taking us from Brighton to Cheltenham, Buxton and finally Blackpool. On the way the route was expertly planned taking us through some fantastic countryside, attending attractions such as tours around breweries and the Brooklands Museum and of course sampling as many beverages from as many establishments as was humanly possible.

Finishing the weekend off nicely by mixing up our stomach contents on The Big One in Blackpool, the CND team (Zero Days to Blackpool) returned to Bath still smiling and ready to get back to reality.

The White Hat community raised over £20,000 for ChildLine in 2009 and more than £30,000 in 2010 - come and help us smash our £40,000 target for 2011.... To find out more about the White Hat Rally please go to www.whitehatrally.org. Zero Days to Blackpool have risen just over £700, meaning that we are still £300 short of our target of £1000. To everyone who donated to Childline for this event, thank you.
